Bayshore Learning Center provides care for children ages 6 months (by 9/1) through Pre-Kindergarten. BLC admits boys and girls of any race, color, nationality, ethnic, or religious origin who can benefit from the program.

An updated 2017-2018 registration form will be emailed to you or it can be picked up at
the Bayshore Learning Center.
Include the required non-refundable registration fee, and non-refundable May 2018 tuition fee (9am-2pm)
Provide up-to-date immunization records for your child and a Health-Care Professional's Statement by August 31st
Bring all completed forms and fees to the BLC office or to the church office .
Are parents able to visit the center?
BLC has an open door policy and encourages parents to become actively involved in their child's preschool program.
Does my child have to be potty-trained?
Children in the 3's and Pre-K classes must be potty-trained.
When is tuition due?
Monthly tuition payments are due on the 15th of each month. Yearly tuition is divided into 10 equal payments, Aug 2017 thru Apr 2018, with May 2018 payment due at registration.
What form of tuition payment do you accept?
BLC accepts cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order, and payment with debit card (w/processing fee).
What do you need if there is a court order affecting the life of my child?
If there is a court order affecting the life of your child(ren), you must provide a certified copy of the court order. If no certified copy is provided, both parents have equal rights.
Will you release my child to just anyone?
Your child(ren) will be released only to those you list on the Admissions Form, requiring a valid ID.
What is the dress code?
Washable, comfortable play clothes are recommended. Shorts must be worn under dresses. Closed-toed and closed-heeled rubber-soled shoes with socks are required.
Does my child have to take a nap?
We are required to provide each child a time of rest each day, however your child is not required to sleep. After a sufficient amount of time, quiet activities are made available for those who don't sleep or who awaken before the others.
Does my child have to bring a lunch?
The children bring their lunches daily. The parents take turns providing snacks for the class on a rotating schedule created by the teacher.

Note: BLC follows the La Porte ISD calendar for school holidays and closings. However, our school year begins a week after LPISD and ends a week before. This year's school calendar can be found under "Activities & News".
